Ghosts of Europe : Europe Now and Then (1940s)

Europe Now and Then (1940s) : Classic Photography
Russian photographer Sergey Larenkov carefully photoshops old World War II photos, over recent shots to make the past come alive.  After St. Petersburg, he made collages in Paris, Moscow, Berlin, Prague, Vienna and other cities.

These are simply stunning, excellent execution.

“It’s very interesting to find the point where another photographer once stood. Suddenly, you see an old world with your very own eyes. You are transported back in time, it’s almost as if you’ve stepped into a time machine. Sometimes, this is scary.” Sergey Larenkov
